CD Boonjos In Me 073 aka ‘Boonjos’
Boonjos is a royally bred 4 year old mare, sorrel with roan hairs and a ‘coon-tail’. She is my saddle mare, and we did breed her this year for a 2008 foal to Smart Instant Choice, a son of SR Instant Choice out of Smart Millialena.
Her sire is CD Blue Boon In Me, by CD Olena, out of Dualin Boonjos. Dualin Boonjos (LTE: $258,000) is a full sister to Autumn Boon (LTE: $259,685, Offspring Earnings: $261,000), Duals Blue Boon (LTE: $197,449, Offspring Earnings: $729,000), and Royal Blue Dually (LTE: $86,394, Offspring Earnings: $323,200). Sadly, Dualin Boonjos and CD Blue Boon In Me are both deceased at young ages, and in fact, if I am correct, CD Blue Boon In Me was her only foal.
Boonjos' dam, Lakeland Lady, is a daughter of Quixote Doc, and out of a King Leo Bars mare.
Boonjos is very ‘cowy’, and an extremely easygoing horse. I am hoping we can ride again soon as she comes back from the stud, as she is a joy to handle anywhere.
